'Mobile Broadband and Hi-Speed Wireless Data Experience'

Webcast of Telstra EV-DO product launch, November 25th 2004, Paddle Steamer  Cumberoona, Albury.

This was a great opportunity to demonstrate the true mobility of E-Go Live Wireless Webcasting Services. For this event, we used a laptop equipped with a High Speed Wireless CDMA 1xRTT external modem to receive the webcast and another with a High Speed Wireless CDMA EV-DO external modem to transmit. The receiving laptop was placed at the Telstra Country Wide stand on the bank of the Murray River; while the transmitting laptop was placed at the E-Go Live stand onboard the Paddle Steamer Cumberoona. In this way, people who missed the boat were still able to see what was happening onboard and learn about the wireless services offered by E-Go Live.
