Descend Underwater Training Centre

Recording of Training Exercise, September 21st 2004, Albury.

For this event, commercial diver students were monitored from the surface via an underwater camera and voice communication system during a training exercise conducted just outside of Albury. The video and audio from the exercise was logged using our intelligent mixing switching system and backed up onto a single CD-ROM disc for ongoing reference. In this case, two cameras were used; one for the dive supervisor located on the surface and another underwater camera for the diver. As the student spoke, their microphone became active and the camera associated to that microphone was selected. In this way, the exercise was recorded in a natural and comfortable television style.
